Amelia Church of Christ
Amelia, Ohio
This beautiful Church contains a balcony for overflow seating, high among the large timber trusses that support the roof. It also includes a full basement for fellowship. This configuration minimizes the building footprint and site disruption, promoting biodiversity. The entire nave is flooded with soft indirect daylight during morning services, from a high continuous clear story window on the west side of the building. A large window located on the east side, allows direct streams of daylight to highlight the wall behind the baptistery.
